Erika & Raul
Erika and Raul have been looking forward to the day when they would have a big church wedding for nearly 10 years, and the day finally arrived.
There is a lot of planning that goes into every wedding. From tweaking the day's timeline, to managing multiple vendor deliveries, and of course preparing all those tiny little details that give the day some flair. And most importantly there are the people...and the people involved with Erika and Raul's wedding spent countless hours making sure those details - big and small - came together for the wedding day. Erika's sisters scoured thrift shops for the year leading up to the wedding searching for the perfect vintage milk glasses, vases, lace, silver platters, and frames that made up the centerpieces for the tables. And in a true labor of love, Raul hand built the fireplace mantle that was proudly displayed behind the couple's sweetheart table at their reception
These acts tell a lot about the story of Erika and Raul's wedding day. Friends and family coming together for each other with emotion, laughter, and the spirit of celebration. It was all there waiting to be shown....and showing that human element of a wedding day is a huge part of my focus. To me, ensuring that I'm able to show the story of those relationships is very important. And Erika and Raul's wedding day was filled with celebration and lively spirit.
So, thank you Erika and Raul for choosing me to tell the story of your wedding day. Here's a look back:
