Now, that may need a bit of explanation: I'd worked with Susie previously on the sets of several independent horror films, during one of which I snapped the aforementioned portrait. So when she called to book me for her wedding I was excited. Speaking of that call...
"I told Angelo you were going to be our wedding photographer before we were even officially engaged."
That's what Susie said to me on the phone when she first called to check my availability. Nope...no pressure there, haha. But since I knew Susie a bit, I anticipated that her wedding would be right up my alley - full of energy and heavy on personality. And it was. And as a bonus, it featured without a doubt the best boutonnieres that I have ever seen. Ever.
