I have known Gail and Ed through mutual friends for several years now, so it was a great pleasure to have the honor of photographing their wedding at Williams Tree Farm. I remember the exact moment that I knew Gail and Ed were going to be a fun couple to work with. It was October 8, 2011 and Gail and Ed were guests at another wedding I photographed for Marilyn & Al. Halfway through the reception I spotted Gail on the dancefloor being used as an air guitar by her future matron-of-honor. And from that moment on, I have been looking forward to this wedding, haha.
Since I knew a lot of the gang involved with this one, it was great to hear how the whole crew came together to help with the wedding day ...from making decorations, to loaning out an amazing loft for a rehearsal dinner and bridal party prep space, to getting that Fisherkeller Ale craft beer brewed just right. (And believe me, it was just right.)
The weather was perfect, those last bits of fall color held on for the big day, and for one magical night Bon Jovi's Livin' on a Prayer did NOT clear the dancefloor. :)
