The subject line of the wedding inquiry I received from Britani several moths ago was "My Atypical Wedding". When I get an email title like that, it definitely grabs my attention. No venue, no reception, no guests. Yep, that's atypical. In fact, Britani & Sara's wedding was so intimate that I even had the honor of signing the marriage license as one of the witnesses. But just because it was small doesn't mean it was any less meaningful or heartfelt. Britani & Sara wanted to get married out in nature, and being that they were from down south the weren't too familiar with this area and asked me for location suggestions. I was glad to help and we picked out a serenely beautiful grove of trees in Rock Cut State Park.
After the short ceremony we spent some time hiking though the park for a photo session, and trekking though the overgrown brush for a quick shoot near an old barn. And only one wedding dress was harmed during all our adventures in the wilderness (oops).
