There's an old saying around here - If you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes. There's reason for that saying. And on Sara and Mark's wedding day the weather changed no fewer than 5 times. But when the groom is a Meteorologist it is actually quite appropriate for the wedding day.
Mother Nature seemed to be playing a joke on Mark as storm clouds rolled in just after the wonderful and scenic wedding ceremony at Anderson Gardens, but we were able to wait out the brief downpour and get that portrait session in with everyone (except photographers, haha) staying mostly dry. And by the time the wedding party arrived at Kilbuck Creek for the reception those rain clouds had disappeared and were replaced by gorgeous weather that eventually had everyone enjoying each other's company outdoors with bags games, giant sized Jenga, laughs, and conversation while soaking in the sun - the reprieve from the rain seeming to give everyone even MORE reason to celebrate Mark & Sara's wedding.
So perhaps Mother Nature knew what she was doing the whole time.
After dark it was back inside to dance the night away with the energetic Pablo & The Rhythmix followed by a fireworks show so spectacular that I'm still shaking ash out of my clothing.
Congrats Sara & Mark. Here's a look back at your day. Futurecast: Always Sunny.
